Precise, computer driven machining carves strong, light components from solid bar stock aircraft quality aluminum alloy. The traditional double click pawl drag in the Evolution F is known for its reliability with even the finest tippets. That design is contrasted with a thoroughly modern anti-reverse drag in the new Evolution FX reels. Both series are constructed with fully ported, rim control spools, each supported by a stainless steel ball bearing. Frames, too, are ported for lightness and ventilation. All Evolution fly reels can be easily switched from right to left hand retrieve. Drag adjustment is simple with the no-line-snag control dial located on the rear of the frame. Impregnated wood handle knobs are counter balanced for smooth, wobble free operation during even the fastest runs.
MARADO Evolution F and FX fly reels are perfectly matched to lines from 2 to 10 weight.
